We were lucky to head off this week, on a return trip by to the UK to see family. Travelling by aeroplane was a surprisingly pleasant and easy experience, and all the relevant safety measures were in place. Masks had to be worn at all times except when eating or drinking. Social distancing was adhered to, and everyone travelling was respectful of the new rules and of others. The plane returning to Lanzarote was buzzing with tourists excited to be visiting our beautiful island. It was a pleasure to see some kind or normality resuming.
From July 1st, 2020, if you fly to Spain from other countries, it is mandatory to fill out and sign the FCS form associated with your trip, regardless of your nationality, age or any other consideration. If you develop coronavirus symptoms when you’re travelling, ensure you tell the travel staff, so they can tell you what you should do next when you arrive.
It is all our responsibility to keep ourselves and others safe, and by taking the necessary precautions we can all once again enjoy our amazing island of Lanzarote and all it has to offer.
